Wings of the Ocean
Missions
- Protéger les océans : Collecter et faire des études scientifiques des déchets présents sur nos littoraux en Atlantique et Méditerranée.
- Sensibiliser les populations et les institutions locales à la pollution plastique.
Nos missions de 2 et 6 mois sont de : Protéger nos littoraux français en effectuant des ramassages de déchets sur les zones polluées et collecter de la donnée grâce à leur caractérisation par typologie de déchet. Sensibiliser le grand public, les enfants, les entreprises et les élus locaux au rôle de l'océan et réduire cette pollution grâce à un plan d’actions auprès des acteurs du territoire.
À quoi vont servir les dons en 2025 ?
Pour 2025, vos dons contribuent à la Mission Kraken.
La Mission Kraken est un programme de navigation et de sensibilisation du trois-mâts emblématique de Wings of the Ocean en Méditerranée, porté par la Voix de l’Océan, dans le cadre de l’Année de la Mer et de la Conférence des Nations Unies sur l’Océan à Nice en juin 2025 avec comme objectifs :
- La sensibilisation de 20 000 personnes lors des escales du bateau dans les ports de Méditerranée,
- L'organisation de collectes de déchets,
- La collaboration avec des programmes scientifiques pour des prélèvements en mer et à terre.
👉🏻 Pour contribuer à atteindre cet objectif l’association a besoin de récolter 200 000€
Bilan 2024
Merci pour votre générosité envers Wings of the Ocean !
En 2024, grâce à vous, nous avons récolté 86 000 €, soit 5 % du budget total de l’association pour cette année.
Ces dons ont contribué à financer :
✨ Un mois de mission Scylla (escale à Douarnenez) ce qui représente 50 000 €, incluant :
- 11 collectes de déchets,
- 1125 kgs de déchets ramassés (442 litres), dont 31 kgs de plastique
- 13 actions de sensibilisation,
- 284 personnes sensibilisées,
- L’accueil, la formation, le logement, et la restauration de 12 bénévoles.
✨ Sept mois de places au port pour le Kraken (42 000 €), soit une partie des 72 000 € nécessaires en 2024.
Zero Waste France
Les dons servent principalement à financer les membres de l’équipe salariée de l’association qui œuvrent tous les jours à faire avancer la démarche zéro déchet, zéro gaspillage : responsable du plaidoyer, coordinatrice de campagnes, chargée de projets, responsable des affaires juridiques.

L’école ne reçoit aucune subvention publique. Elle ne peut fonctionner que grâce aux subventions des fondations, aux dons des particuliers, au mécénat et à la taxe d’apprentissage des entreprises. Le don reçu permettra donc de contribuer au fonctionnement de l’école !
