Découvrir leur mission
Créée par Charles Delobel, Rock4Life est la 1ère et unique association en France qui lutte contre les cancers primitifs inconnus en soutenant le programme RESCUE de l'INSTITUT CURIE. Elle a pour objectif de rassembler les 7000 nouveaux patients, par an, en France, atteints par ce cancer et de trouver des financeurs pour l'équipe de recherche de l’Institut Curie
À quoi vont servir les dons en 2026?
En 2026, les dons collectés permettront de poursuivre le soutien au projet de recherche RESCUE mené à l’Institut Curie et porté par l’équipe de Sarah Watson.
Ce projet vise à mieux comprendre les cancers de primitifs inconnus grâce à des outils technologiques de pointe et à l’intelligence artificielle. En croisant et analysant de grandes quantités de données issues des patients, ces nouveaux outils permettent d’identifier plus précisément la tumeur d’origine et d’orienter les médecins vers des traitements plus ciblés et plus efficaces.
Concrètement, vos dons contribueront à :
- Développer et améliorer ces outils d’analyse basés sur l’IA.
- Accélérer le traitement et l’interprétation des données médicales,
- Faire avancer la recherche vers une médecine plus personnalisée, adaptée à chaque patient.
Avancer sur la recherche de ce cancer, c'est aussi avancer sur tous les autres cancers métastasés qui touchent 150.000 personnes par an en France.
Pour mener à bien ses recherches, l’Institut Curie a besoin au total de 3M€. Le coût par patient pour bénéficier de ces nouveaux outils prometteurs est de 1 000 euros.
👉🏻 Pour atteindre cet objectif l’association a besoin de récolter 250 000€

✨ Les besoins en homme et outils informatiques de l'institut Curie : 2 personnes supplémentaires ont été embauchées dans l'équipe du Dr Sarah Watson pour avancer sur l'intelligence artificielle.
Générations futures
Financer un observatoire des polluants chimiques en développant une cartographie de la pollution de l'eau grâce au renforcement de l'équipe avec 3 experts permettant ainsi de créer des outils de plaidoyer et de sensibiliser plus largement pour combattre les pollutions invisibles.

A financer nos 7 missions qui accueillent plus de 250 bénévoles à temps plein pendant 4 à 6 mois chaque année. Nos bénévoles sont logés, nourris et blanchis aux frais de l’association qui couvrent également les frais d’entretien de nos deux voiliers (Scylla et Kraken).

L’école ne reçoit aucune subvention publique. Elle ne peut fonctionner que grâce aux subventions des fondations, aux dons des particuliers, au mécénat et à la taxe d’apprentissage des entreprises. Le don reçu permettra donc de contribuer au fonctionnement de l’école !
